We are justly proud of our Head Chef Nathan Boon whose dedication to quality, locally sourced, seasonal food has helped to put the White Horse on the food map of Norfolk. Working with his team Nathan has gained a considerable reputation for his imaginative seasonal dishes. Nathan has a view that everything should be fresh and as much as possible created by him and his staff, which is why he makes his own tomato sauce, preserves and bakes his own bread.

Homemade ice cream is much tastier than commercial brands and the flavours can be more interesting. What better than a scoop of Homemade Dark Chocolate and Norfolk Honey Ice Cream.

Both our Restaurant and Bar menus offer wide variety of dishes and as you might expect from a seaside resort seasonal fish features quite strongly on the menu. Nathan has established a number of contacts with local fishermen who now bring him the best of their catch straight from the boat.

Meat eaters and Vegetarians are equally well catered for as Nathan has similar arrangements with local farmers, butchers and wholesalers all of whom present our chef with the best that Norfolk has to offer.

If all this is not enough our Speciality Food Nights every Wednesday give Nathan even more chance to express him self and test his culinary skills. Choose from Italian, Spice, Seafood and Grill Nights.

 Nathan and his team also pride themselves on their value for money Great British Sunday Roast available every Sunday lunchtime.

 Like any restaurant we also offer our diners a choice of special menus for the Festive Season, Mothers Day, Easter and the many other special occasions that we all celebrate throughout the year.
