December 2012  - We had Christmas lunch here, it was the best meal ever. Fantastic food friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere there was no rush at all a truly wonderful experience and we will be going there again very soon. Compliments to the excellent chef. Thank you all very much and happy new year to you all.

 November 2012 - When ever me and my girlfriend are in Overstrand we go for a meal at the white horse which is always great the bar has a nice atmosphere and has a nice selection of real ales. The restaurant is clean the food is of very high standard and priced fairly. This week we decided to stay for a night at the White Horse and we had a very enjoyable stay the room was extremely nice and clean, the bed was comfy and the Breakfast was just epic. So i highly recommend the White horse Overstrand for somewhere to eat, drink and stay.

September 2012 - Just wanted to say a very big Thankyou for a wonderful couple of days. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable with every need catered for. The food was excellent as was the service and we shall certainly be seeing you again and recommending you to friends and family.

September 2012 - My husband and I stayed at The White Horse in Overstrand with our dog for four nights. This was our second visit having stayed the same time last year. It is a wonderful dog-friendly place, our room was lovely and comfortable, the food was very good (lovely breakfasts and evening meals), and it is a great base for exploring North Norfolk. We think it's really good value for £89 per night per room incl. breakfast. There's also free wifi.

July 2012 - We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival the place has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our room was clean and stylish. An iron and board were provided after discovering my husbands shirt had not stood up to the journey well!! They also bought up sandwiches to our room, as we hadn't eaten and we needed to before going to the wedding. They were delicious and came with chips and a lovely salad. All the staff were very pleasant. We were given a key to let ourselves into the hotel at the end of the evening reception, which worked very well as we were late back.
In the morning we had a great breakfast which we could not fault. After chatting with the owners we had a lovely walk of about four miles to Cromer along the footpath on the cliff and with the golf course to our left, on the way back we walked on the superb beach enjoying the stunning scenery. All in all it was a lovely weekend and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
